Septic tank products for the maintenance of your septic tank, small sewage treatment plant or cesspit are available in granulated and liquid form. These different products are not very different from each other as they all contain the same type of bacteria. The only difference is that they can be used differently. Septic tank granules are produced using a freeze-drying process. A process in which the bacteria have to endure very low temperatures and therefore many bacteria can be lost during the process. Partly due to this process, the pellets differ in their effect from liquids, as a liquid can contain much more bacteria than pellets. Grains, on the other hand, are much easier to transport due to their solid form.
