We have been using Septic Tank products for a few years and it has never failed to do the job – one scoop per person in the household per week – and you transmute human waste to perfectly acceptable grey water. Easy to use. My one small gripe is the change in packaging – the old tube tubs were ideal to store and dispense from.

We have a 5000 litre underground rainwater tank in our garden. Generally, the water from it is clean and odour free.But in warm, dry conditions it can end up a bit dirty and smelly. That’s a problem because we use it to flush the toilets in the house.\nWe use Bio-Recup LQD – Rainwater Tank Treatment and it definitely works. We have had to use 3 bottles so far this year so it is expensive but worth it.

I added the Dutch Water tech bio recap LQD to my 5000 L rainwater tank in February this year as there was a slight smell from the water. Two weeks ago, the water in the toilet smelt really bad. I wanted some advice on what to do next and phoned the company but got an answer phone. Left a message but they didn’t ring back. Ordered another bottle. Added that. Hope the smell goes.

I had a problem with a poor soakaway flow in my system. Three weeks later I thought this product may have helped. It didn’t.

I have a 5000l rain water recovery tank (used for garden irrigation, toilets, washing machine and outside taps) that occasionally gets overrun by contaminated water from an ageing and easily blocked sewer operated in the UK by Southern Water. In the past I have spent several £100 on a contractor to empty and clean the tank. I’m not prepared or equipped to climb into the tank for a proper hands on clean up. This time I had Southern Water empty the tank as part of their clean-up. I then used a stick pump to clear more water and hosed the tank before stick pumping it again. After online research and a rapid email exchange with Dutch Water Tech I added 2500l of clean water and 0.5l of BIO-RECUP LQD. After a few days the water from the tank was clear and odourless. The cost was a fraction of commercially cleaning my tank. I am making a claim to Southern Water for the cost of the product and pump. Well done Dutch Water Tech!

Bought this as our outside drain is clogged. Easy to order and arrived quickly. Item instructions are easy to follow and it doesn’t have a bleach like smell. Item does seem to be taking effect and I will certainly look at purchasing from this site in the future.

We had a problem with a poorly draining leach field and tried various things to sort it out to no avail. Then tried K570 Leach and Drain Field Opener after reading reviews. We put a bottle in every month for six months and gradually noticed an improvement. We now empty a bottle in every two months. It seems to be working.

Very efficient service from seller. “Black water” worked really well, poured the whole bottle into empty narrowboat holding tank, filled the tank with clean water, waited one week then pumped out again. Had problems with our tank draining, it had become really slow and was getting close to the top of the tank. I brought some tank & drain field cleaner. Put a total of three bottles in over the course of two months before noticing a difference.\nNow I put a bottle in the tank after having it emptied to replace the bacteria.

The products have improved the drainage from our soak away. The dispatch is very prompt and efficient. Would not hesitate to recommend.

I wanted a way to improve the efficiency of my septic tank. Septic Tank sent me their product, which was easy to use and seems to be doing the job.

After initially realising that the product we needed was out of stock I emailed the Septic Tank Shop asking when it’d be available and got an immediate response (saying it’d be a few days) then an email when it was in stock. We ordered, it was dispatched promptly and has made a big difference to the quality of our rainwater. We have had a rainwater harvester system for 10 years but this summer the water (which flushes our toilets) although not smelling, looked a little off colour and was frothy. After only a few days it has cleared significantly. We will definitely use this company and their product again.

Parcel arrived a couple of days after ordering which was helpful. I have a problem with my utility room sink which has fairly narrow pipes and so gets clogged all the time which is very annoying and apart from anything else doesn’t smell very nice! I was so pleased to find a product which was compatible with our septic tank, there’s not too many of them around. I was happy to finally find a British company that would provide an eco friendly solution to grey and black water treatment for RV! We have been using Bio Septic Plus for a number of years. It is easy to use on a weekly dose which we adjust to allow for guests staying. The product ensures our waste is efficiently converted to grey water with virtually no odour from the tank. It is more effective than our previous uk product and delivery via the bioseptic shop is easy.

Product has unfortunately not achieved what it was purchased for. Shower drain still slow emptying, no improvement despite repeated use in accordance with instructions.\nIs there anything better?

I ordered 2 x cartons of Roebic K57 Emergency treatment to try and unclog our slow draining septic tank after other suppliers’ Bio treatments failed to unblock. After 24 hours of pouring both cartons directly into the tank there were visible signs of improvement and some excess water had drained away. After 72 hours the tank is back to looking and smelling exactly as it should. Fingers crossed this is now completely resolved. Thanks guys!

Ordered online, arrived in the post a few days later, read the instructions and added the package to the tank which then became noticeably active for about 24hrs. Has settled down and seems to be working as expected now. Good stuff!

Last year in 2022 we had odour problems with out rain water harvester tank for the first time.\nThe spectic tank company then had helped me find the right product I needed bio re cup LQD for rain water harvesting .\nwhen again after long dry hot spell of weather the problem happened again this year. I looked up my past email to find the company who’s product worked so well and were quick & efficient.

I have an old sceptic tank that was getting slower and slower to drain causing a gradual build up over the year between empties. Last empty it was near to the top and I was accepting it was time to think about a new one. I think a lot of the problem was all the anti bacterial agents we were using during lock down and we had got careless with what we actually put down there. I have tried other bacteria treatment but without any real success but thought I’d give this one a go, mainly encouraged by the excellent advice given by Silvia about how to treat the tank. After it was emptied I added Roebic K37 to the primary tank and then waited for levels to build up in the main tank. Once full and again increasing above the outflow point I added K570. It took about two weeks to show an effect with us being careful on water use during that time but the levels did dropped. Once we started to use more normal water usage they went up again and I repeated the dose of K570 after about four weeks. I am also adding Biosceptic plus weekly as directed. The levels have now stabilised around the correct level for the outflow and it seems to be holding steady. Fingers crossed I have a solution and no need to dig the garden up. Silvia was great offering advice whilst I waited for it to work. It’s a bacteria so instant results won’t happen but give it time and it does seem to work.

I was looking for a product that could help remove drain smells. Septic Tank popped up in my results and had very good detailed product information to help find exactly what I was looking for. The price too was reasonable with an easy checkout and fast delivery! Overall very satisfied with the purchase!

my tank started backlogging to the drainage to my house which isnt nice as you have to walk past it to my front door. I had the tank emptied and the guy jetted my drains from the tank back to house and made them clear for me. So once the tank was empty the outlet pipe where my drainage field is-started filling the tank back up with what looked like clear water they kindly pumped it again and could hear water running back in until tank was back full . Someone came out said that there was an issue with my drainage field and i would need to have the garden dug up to fix the issue and could be a costly. In the meantime i have done loads of research of tanks and drainage fields. And i went down the option of septic shock 4 bottles later nothing. I was deflated but determined to find something. Read reviews to get a good understanding how it worked or didnt work. So it was intention to try this stuff. I came across this website read all the reviews . I had been lifting my drainage cover daily and my tank cover still no movement . So i rang the number on this site. I spoke to a gentleman who listened to me and i was going to try K57 and K570 together he said from what i said K570 should help and to put a bottle down my toilet. I said i can lift the tank he said i can put it in there too. So i decided to order 4 bottles of this stuff. Delivery was quick was updated regularly on email that it was dispatched and when would arrive. Excitingly i got my package threw a bottle in to my tank as close to outlet i could. I lifted the drain a few hours later water was higher and now had smell that wasnt there before . Checked daily… still high anyway 4 days later out of no where lifted drain cover its dropped loads. I am not out of woods yet but its doing something- have just tipped half a bottle down main drain and drainage cover too to help. Thank you !! Will leave another review after its had more time. Just be patient seems to be working. Highly recommend product and company

Only on the second week of using but it already smells less strong. Our drainage system is not functioning as it should so time will tell if it clears and I will update this review. So far so good though.

Have been using BioSeptic for over a year. Very please with the product which deals effectively with the waste in our very old system. The enzymes certainly do the job and produce clear grey water in the tank. It’s easy to manage the dosing when we have visitors staying. This product has become standard treatment for my drainage field after a major problem- it has completely changed how it works for the better and is now a key part of my maintenance.

I had a ‘puddle’ appear above my soakaway that had been working well for many years and is in one of the most inaccessible locations possible (down a bank and covered with a few small willow trees). So rather than digging the whole lot out I decided to try a biological alternative. I found the leachfield cleaner and unclogger product from the septic tank shop and gave it a try. It cleared it in about a week and I now treat regularly. I wish I had found this years ago, it would have saved me a fortune at a previous property.

Used recommended K27 after explaining on email that our kitchen sinks and sometimes one of upstairs showers smelt bad partic after rain . Pipes from kitchen sink have been cleaned where accessible. Now trying K67 which have just ordered which was also suggested by your representative. Fingers crossed !

Ordered this product online for the first time so with regards to the products themselves only time will tell.\nThere was some mixed messages between the suppliers and the carriers with regards to the exact delivery day but it still arrived within 4 days of ordering. I ordered two containers of the product one of which hadn’t had the lid stapled, fortunately the powder remained in the container the second container was secure.\nAll minor stuff really but i hope this feedback helps!\nI would order from the company again.

After trying so many tablets, powders etc that actually don’t make any difference, my husband found this product. My ‘go to’ place for ordering the ‘Roebic Black Water Tank Treatment’. Great product!

So far so good. Product takes a bit to work so difficult to rate yet but arrived safe N sound.

I used it in the main drain and it hasn’t had any effect. Used in combination with hot/boiling water 6 hours after the application, but didn’t do anything.\nNot a good experience for a very expensive product.*Update*\nThey claimed that using very hot water is bad. I think that’s just an excuse. As the situation was getting worse everyday I had to call a professional unblocker to fix the issue and one of the recommendations he made for preventing this issues in the future is to use the 90° program of the washing machine from time to time, which helps dissolving the blockages formed by soap, detergents and other dirt in the main drain.

Service was good but not sure of the product. I purchased four bottles via Amazon and another four direct from The Septic Tank Shop to clear a blockage between the Filter bed and the Leach field but four bottles didn’t seem to work. I am now having to excavate the outfall from the Filter Bed to see what the problem is and will use the remaining four to service the Leach Field.
