Do you want to activate your septic tank again after it has been out of operation for a longer period of time or, for example, has been emptied and needs to be restarted? Then Septic Tank Activator is the package you need.
Septic Tank Activator contains a large population of septic tank bacteria that will (re)activate the decomposition of sludge and waste products in the septic tank. By adding Septic Tank Activator you add extra bacteria. Bacteria that can assist the existing microorganisms in the septic tank in breaking down waste. The build up of sludge and other debris will be less and there will be less smell. This way, you can prevent a lot of problems and activate and support the septic tank in the right way again.
This product is now even more concentrated! A 250 ml bottle is suitable for a septic tank of no less than 1,500 litres. So you do not compromise on the efficacy of the product, but you do save on the use of plastic. A bottle contains 40% less plastic. Good for your septic tank and for the environment.
What is Septic Tank Activator suitable for?
This package is a biological activator for septic tanks.
Septic Tank Activator consists of 2 bottles of Roebic Septic Tank K37.
Roebic Septic Tank K37 is safe for all different kinds of pipes. And because it is 100% biodegradable, Roebic Septic Tank K37 is not harmful for the environment. Roebic Septic Tank K 37 can be used for systems that are connected to both grey (kitchen, bathroom) and black (toilet) wastewater. If the septic tank is only connected to a toilet, i.e. only to black water, then we recommend Roebic Septic Tank K47
How do I use Septic Tank Activator?
- Shake well before use. Flush the entire contents of the packet down the toilet.
- Use 1 pack per 3000 litres tank capacity per year.
- Repeat the dosage as described at least once a year.
How much Septic Tank Activator do I need for my septic tank?
Septic Tank Activator consists of 2 bottles of approximately 250ml Roebic Septic Tank K37 and is sufficient for a septic tank with a capacity of up to 3000 litres. Do you have a larger tank? Then you can simply order extra K37.
Does Septic Tank Activator also work for aerated septic tanks?
No, septic tank activator is not suitable for aerated septic tanks. For an aerated septic tank, you better use Roetech 106 PS. These are different bacteria cultures.
When is it best to add Septic Tank Activator?
It is best to add Roebic K37 a few days after emptying the septic tank.
Is Septic Tank Activator a preventative product?

What can affect the effectiveness of K37?
In case of a septic tank or WTP, be careful with cleaning products that contain chlorine! These can seriously disrupt the biology in the tank.
Problems with the pipework leading to the septic tank can be tackled with Roebic K 97.
Is the Septic Tank Activator packaging recyclable?
Yes, the packaging is recyclable. We have chosen to provide more and more products with a new environmentally conscious sustainable packaging. Therefore the bottle may differ from the original picture above. Our new bottles are made of 100% recycled plastic. Of course, the content and functioning of the product is the same as in the original packaging.
To protect the products from damage, we use – if necessary – packing paper as filling material in our packages. The packing paper is made of 100% recycled paper.
