Odour is a common problem on the grease separator or grease trap. The collected grease hardens in the tank and begins to rot. This is sometimes called anaerobic decomposition. The coagulated fat can also cause blockages, making it difficult for the grease trap to drain off.

The use of a TS element is an effective method of counteracting odours and blockages. And this in a completely biological and sustainable way.

How does the maintenance package for grease separators work?

This package consists of a special bacterial candle that is hung in the grease separator. This element slowly dissolves and continuously releases bacteria that neutralise the dirty sky by fighting the bacteria at the source. As the decomposition is aerobic and fast, it eliminates the bad bacteria. The smell is also greatly reduced and disappears completely with prolonged use.

How do I install this?

Fortunately it is very simple. You screw a small hook into the compartment where the water enters. Hang the candle on the hook. It will take you less than five minutes. The candle dissolves in about 2.5 months and then needs to be replaced. See also the picture below.
